- Sweet, unusual
blanket, called a pram blanket. Wonderful old
woolen worn soft, trimmed in pretty old satin,
colors in reverse on the back. The lappets at the
top have old ribbons attached, just not sure the

- Fine old silk
comforter with beautiful hand embroidery (see
detail at center above). This piece is quite old,
quite fragile, but it would be beautiful as decor

Covered in pink satin moire and featuring ribbons and rosebuds,Through Baby's First Years, above, is dated 1942. Adorable graphics, at right, throughout. Interestingly, it was authored by Dr. Dafoe, who tended Canada's Dionne quintuplets (a sad story worth googling) and includes his tips for raising baby. Ah the'50s: Those years of Mamie Eisenhower and bridge club! Direct from that time come these ceramic bassinets, complete with windup music boxes. These either were planters sent to the new mother with some hard-to-kill houseplant or simply were dressing table containers. We have one with a blue color scheme, one with pink. #MBOX1 $18.50 each.

These are the cutest vintage plastic baby bibs  complete with their old box. They are in excellent condition, no drying or cracking, and the elastic has as much stretch as it had when made.
