HARDANGER EMBROIDERIES
From the incomparable DMC Library, this is a pair of hard-to-find editions (DMC notoriously fails to note dates on many of their books) that appears to be from the 1940s or 1950s. The projects are exquisite.
(SOLD) THE TETZNER BOOK OF HARDANGER EMBROIDERIES AND FILET CROCHET
From the Dorothy Bradford collection, this 1932 booklet has some fantistic hardanger ideas for tableclothes, hand towels, etc., as well as some pretty filet crochet designs for chairbooks.
(SOLD) THE COMPLETE HARDANGER BOOK
By Sara Hadley, this 1905 booklet is filled with some of the prettiest, most dainty hardanger, many designs modeled by ladies in the Gibson Girl mode. (This book is a little more delicate than most of ours but not bad condition for its age.) ![]()
